Mr. Williamson brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to the team, with a diverse background that spans from land acquisitions to cased hole completions and from title to service operations. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and is an active member of the Society for Petroleum Engineers.

​Currently, Derek applies his expertise in the oil and gas sector at NZET Refineries. Outside of his professional commitments, he finds solace in the great outdoors and manages a cattle ranch. In addition, Derek generously dedicates his time as a mentor through various local organizations, offering guidance and support to high school and college-aged students.
